Tropical Teal Cosmetics LLC (“Tropical Teal Cosmetics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a wholesale and private label cosmetics company based in Los Angeles, California. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect through our website, https://tropicaltealcosmetics.com (the “Site”), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. This policy is incorporated into our Terms of Use.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us:

Contact form. When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.

Orders. When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and details of what you purchased. Your payment card information is collected and processed by our payment processors (such as Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our Shopify checkout) — we do not store your full card number.

Accounts. If you create an account, we collect your login credentials and the profile and order-history information associated with your account.

Newsletter. When you sign up for our email list, we collect your email address.

Ambassador applications. When you apply to our ambassador program, we collect the contact and background information you provide in the application.

Private label branding. When you place a private label order, we collect the brand names, logos, and artwork files you supply so we can produce your products.

Information collected automatically: When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, the site that referred you, and your approximate location. This is collected through cookies, analytics tools, and server logs, as described below.

To produce private label products using the branding materials you supply
To respond to your inquiries, provide customer service, and offer our free 1-on-1 consulting

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device that help websites function and remember information. The Site uses:

Necessary and functional cookies, including cookies set by Shopify, the platform our store runs on, which are needed for the shopping cart, checkout, and account login to work.

Embedded content. Our Site features TikTok content and links to social media; embedded third-party content may set its own cookies governed by the provider’s privacy policy.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

Companies that help us run our business: Shopify (our e-commerce platform and hosting), payment processors (including Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay), shipping carriers (USPS for domestic orders; FedEx, UPS, or DHL for international orders), and our email marketing provider. These providers receive only the information they need to perform their services.

Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.

With your consent. Any other sharing happens only with your permission.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. The Site does not currently respond to DNT signals, because there is no common industry standard for them. The Site also does not currently process Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals automatically; however, we honor opt-out and privacy requests made directly through the contact methods listed at the end of this policy.

We honor the following requests from any visitor or customer, regardless of where you live:

Access: ask what personal information we hold about you
Correction: ask us to fix inaccurate information
Deletion: ask us to delete your information, subject to legal record-keeping requirements

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law (for example, tax and accounting records for completed orders). When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, and our checkout is handled by Shopify and our payment processors. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Sites

The Site links to third-party sites and services, including TikTok, social media platforms, and payment providers. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will flag them conspicuously on the Site.
